For me it was hard to find two blogs that actually interest me. This is my first time really dealing with blogs(reading them or creating them). So when we had to look up two, I wanted to find one that dealt with President-Elect Barrack Obama. This blog was one created after he won the election in 2008. For the most part it was informative stating all the satistics of the votes and whatever else. All of the comments were just a bunch of personal rant.
It tickles me to look at some of the comments that people left on this. Some of the people that are republicans left comments on here that were hilarious to me. They feel since Indiana and North Carolina went blue this year that they had been betrayed. As I read most of these comments I started to think about our country and how we are the "United" States of America. People have such a hard time accepting the fact that a man who is half-black was elected president. I am not saying that I voted for him but being a part of the UNITED States of America I am willing to accpet the fact that he is my president! Last time I checked we are not the divided states of America. People just need to wake up and realize that just because you don't like who was elected, doesn't mean he isn't your president. For all of you smartasses that say "he isn't my president," then pack up and move to another country. We have to take the hand that we are delt and make the best of what we have. Like Young Jeezy said in a recent song, "It's time for a damn change so yall let the man shine."

I agree on the fact that people need to get over the fact that Barack is our president now regardless if you like it or not. I personally am curious to see what he can do with the cards he's dealt. I know i wouldn't want to be in his shoes coming into office with a list full of things to take care of, especially because everyone's a critic.

I agree COMPLETELY!!!!!!! The number of people that are complaining about the resaults of this election astonish me, more so because most of them didn't vote in it. In my opinion, if you didn't vote, shut the fuck up! You only have the right to complain IF you put your vote in. Besides, you don't HAVE to like the PERSON in office, just respect the POSITION.
